Abstract 23: THE ROLE OF TALENT PIPELINES IN RECRUITMENT PLANNING
This study explores the role of talent pipelines in recruitment planning, focusing on their impact on candidate availability, recruitment efficiency, and overall business performance. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a diverse population. A sample size of 300 respondents is derived using Taro Yamane's formula to ensure representativeness. The case study is conducted in Enugu, targeting a logistics company with a well-established talent pipeline strategy. The reliability coefficient score of 0.85 indicates high reliability. Findings suggest that effective talent pipelines significantly enhance recruitment planning by ensuring candidate availability and improving recruitment efficiency. Recommendations include investing in developing talent pipelines and regularly reviewing their effectiveness in supporting recruitment planning.
